It’s Not the Critic Who Counts
It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again … who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly.
You can do
You can do what I cannot do. I can do what you cannot do. Together we can do great things.
Opportunity dances with those who are already on the dance floor.
Forget past mistakes. Forget failures. Forget everything except what you’re going to do now and do it.
You don’t paddle against the current, you paddle with it. And if you get good at it, you throw away the oars.
True belonging is a spiritual practice of believing in and belonging to yourself so deeply that you can share your most authentic self with the world and find sacredness in both being a part of something and standing alone in the wilderness. True belonging doesn’t require you to change who you are; it requires you to be who you are.
We are not necessarily thinking machines. We are feeling machines that think.
Being wealthy means having the resources to provide yourself with everything you need, and desire, to share your gifts with the world as your biggest, badass self. This means being wealthy psychologically, spiritually, and energetically as well as materially.
Nothing is impossible, the word itself says “I’m possible.”
This is what is Important
And every day, the world will drag you by the hand yelling, “This is important! And this is important! You need to worry about this! And this! And this!” and each day, it’s up to you to yank your hand back, put it on your heart and say, “No. This is what’s important.”
Give it a Try!
It’s impossible, said pride.
It’s risky, said experience.
It’s pointless, said reason.
Give it a try, whispered the heart.
Other Side of Fear
Everything thing is on the other side of fear.
Fear and Flying Forward
It is not that you need to get rid of fear in order to fly. It is that you need to start flying to witness the fear become irrelevant as your heart displaces the fear with the truth of who you are. Fly forward.
If you don’t like something change it; if you can’t change it, change the way you thing about it.
Fear not the Judgement of Others!
Fear not the judgement of others; fear living a life in which you keep your wild, wonderful, weirdo self in a cage.
Vulnerability is not winning or losing. It’s having the courage to show up when you can’t contour the outcome.
Surrender to What IS!
Surrender to what is. Say “yes” to life and see how life suddenly starts working for you, rather than against you.
